Important National Geographic Conditions Monitoring project “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regional integration development” has been accepted

September 13th, Department of National Land Survey of NASG held the acceptance meeting for the 2015 Important National Geographic Conditions Monitoring project “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regional integration development” in Chinese Surveying and Mapping Innovation Base. Deputy Director of Department of National Land Survey TianHaibo and vice president of CASM Liu Jiping attended the acceptance meeting.
Experts from Institute of Spatial Planning & Regional Economy ,National Development and Reform Commission P.R.C, Department of Urban and Rural Planning of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural development of PRC, China Land Surveying and Planning, China Academy of Urban Planning and Design, The Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth (RADI), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS),Satellite Environment Center of Ministry of Environmental Protection, Research Institute of Highway Ministry of Transport, National Geomatics Center of China, National Quality Inspection and Testing Center for Surveying and Mapping Products formed the acceptance experts group.
The project has completed six special monitoring tasks: The Beijing Tianjin Hebei region natural ecological space change monitoring, surface subsidence monitoring, highway and railway transportation network, monitoring of spatial distribution of airborne particulate pollution source, spatial distribution of city spatial expansion monitoring, city group shape and structure change analysis, and has formed monitoring data, reports and maps etc.
Acceptance of the experts group listened to the report on the project acceptance and reviewed the research results of the project. After questions and discussion, they considered the project technical route to be reasonable, with strict quality control and fruitful results, so they all agreed to the acceptance of the project.
Closely combined with the strategic needs of collaborative development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, this project based on the monitoring results, carried out special and comprehensive analysis on the present situation of the ecological environment, and transportation, city spatial pattern and its change on the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, which can provide decision support for regional development, and has good application value.
