The First Important Geographical Condition Monitoring Projects of CASM in 2015 have been Accepted

May 27th, the important geographical condition monitoring projects in 2015 "the regional geological environment stability monitoring of Sichuan and Yunnan" project and "the Three Gorges area geological environment stability monitoring" have been accepted in Beijing. The experts acceptance group consisted of seven experts from Tsinghua University, China Seismological Bureau, seismological Prediction Research Institute, China University of Geosciences, China Seismological Bureau of Geophysical Research, Chinese Academy of Geological Environment Monitoring, National Basic Geographic Information Center, National Surveying and Mapping Product Quality Inspection and Test Center. The acceptance meeting was hosted by Department of Land Surveying and Mapping of National Administration of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation , Deputy Director of Department of Land Surveying and Mapping,Tian Haibo, Vice President of CASM Liu Jiping attended the acceptance meeting.
At the meeting, the experts listened to the report made by the undertaking unit of the project, reviewed the acceptance materials and achievements of the project in detail, after the questioning and discussion, they all agreed to pass the acceptance.
It is reported that the project was led by CASM, completed jointly by some units such as China Earthquake Administration, Sichuan Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation, Shanxi Bureau of surveying, mapping and Geoinformation, Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics. Chinese Academy of Sciences etc.. The project has achieved a series of achievements on geodetic monitoring, which can provide services and technical support for the regional economic layout, urban planning, large-scale construction, regional resource development, disaster prevention and mitigation.
