The Finnish Experts visited NCCSI of CASM

From Sept. 18 to 21, as an important part of scien-tech cooperation project between CASM and Finnish Geodetic Institute(FGI), the dir. of Geodesy and Geodynamics Laboratory(GGL) of the FGI, Prof. Markku Poutanen with Dr. Mikko Takalo visited National Calibration Center for Surveying Instruments (NCCSI), exchanged and discussed on the baseline measurement, digital level and bar code leveling detection. Yan Qing, vice pres. of CASM, and the researchers of CASM attended the meeting.
The visitors of FGI were welcomed by NCCSI. The leaders of NCCSI described the achievements and progress of the NCCSI. Then, Prof. Markku Poutanen introduced the status of geodetic surveying in Finland and Dr. Mikko Takalo introduced the bar code leveling detection. They conducted in-depth exchange on contents of the reports and related technical issues.
During the visit, Prof. Markku Poutanen and Dr. Mikko Takalo visited the indoor long length automated testing platform, digital level bar code indoor testing laboratories, Fangshan testing laboratories and Shahe 4.2 km baseline field. They are speaking highly about the technology strength and calibration facilities of the NCCSI. And both sides also exchaged the details of futher cooperation.
